 McIlvain Letter to Council J. Gibson McIlvain, camp architect and early Council Commissioner, writes in this letter to Chester County Council about his son Robert's discovery of a random $5 bill and they decided to put it forward towards camp funds (this monetary amount in 2008 dollars is about $62). The letter was discovered in 2009 by a Camp Horseshoe HQ Staff member behind an old photo of the Kindness Center. 1928 - Contributed by John B. Rettew III [Contribute Info]

Letter to Vernon Berkeihiser This letter of acceptance onto Camp Horseshoe staff was sent from Scout Executive T.J. Price in February 1930 to Vernon Berkeihiser, grandfather of Horseshoe Camp Director Mike Berkeihiser. Health Lodge Dedication Attendee Tickertape All the attendees of the Health Lodge Dedication on July 22nd, 1944 signed this tickertape.
